Scientists Just Realized Neptune May Not Actually Be an Ice Giant

It amazes me how much effort is made to capture a few pixels from a smudge at the end of the Universe, when we know so little about our own backyard.
As I reported back in 2024, it has been discovered that Neptune is not in fact blue. It is a pale green colour similar to Uranus and likely these planets were formed as a pair of twins as most stars and planets are.
Despite being a remote 30 AU from the Sun, Neptune experiences aurora near it’s tropics and it’s outer atmosphere is steadily becoming cooler in temperature for unknown reasons.
New data suggests that both Neptune and Uranus are not Ice Giants as previously imagined, but rather have a rocky surface beneath their thick atmospheres.

Has anything been more damning of standard cosmology than the stubbornly inconvenient JWST data?
JWST shows us a shocking resemblance to plasma double layers around Uranus, and this is hardly ever discussed. JWST seems to be good at revealing double layers (among other electric phenomena)- which NASA is always quick to explain away.
