Another excellent video on the electric sculpting of Mars. I’ve added a few extra links below the video for those who like to dive deep.

Valles Marineris is a gargantuan canyon that stretches 2,485 miles across the surface of Mars and cuts four times deeper than the single mile depth of the Grand Canyon on Earth.
What mysterious force removed two million cubic kilometers from the Martian surface—could a cosmic thunderbolt have given Mars one heck of a facelift?
Scientific pioneer Ralph Juergens envisioned electrical arcs between celestial bodies. In 1974, he wrote describing Valles Marineris, “...this entire region resembles nothing so much as an area zapped by a powerful electric arc advancing unsteadily across the surface...”
Electric discharge machining (EDM) is a metal fabrication process to form a desired shape using electricity. EDM cuts flat surfaces cleanly to predetermined depths, removing layers of material with great precision.
Author and narrator Matt Finn reasons that if EU Model theorists and plasma cosmologists are emphatic on what caused the largest canyon seen in our solar system, it’s because no internal geologic force known to science can achieve the same effect.
