Earthquake reported off Southern Coast of Italy
Estimated magnitude 6.1 - 6.2 at depth ~239km
This earthquake was only 20km off the coast but luckily it was a deep quake and it is unlikely to have caused damage, any tsunami would be minimal. However deep quakes can sometimes be followed by shallower aftershocks.
And this is likely a factor in the timing of this earthquake. There is a large Earth-facing Solar Coronal Hole (a curius triangular shaped one) which can trigger geomagnetic storm conditions.
