Earthquake reported in Western China
Estimated magnitude 7.2 at depth 11 kilometres
Right on the back of another day’s solar eruptions comes another significant earthquake, this time in the Kyrgyzstan-Xinjiang Border Region. There have been at least three aftershocks in the 5.x range so far.
From the map it appears the quake struck in a fairly remote area and hopefully destruction will be minimal.
